Lisa Fraser, owner of Pompadours since the doors opened in 1990, has been in the hair industry since 1980. With an eye for shape and form that developed early on with her love of art and photography, Lisa strives to find the best style to suit each individual face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle. She loves all forms of cutting from precision classics to cutting edge pixies, long flowing layers to short and textured. She has a natural talent for cutting including precision scissor cutting as well as excelling in razor cutting! She has studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy Santa Monica, Jingles Academy New York, American Crew Academy, and Tony and Guy Advanced Academies in Dallas and Long Beach. She has also studied at the Aveda Advanced Academies in New York, Minneapolis, and Denver. She has had the opportunity to study with some of the best artists in the industry including Oscar Bond, Rudy Miles, Gina Derry, Ricardo Dinis, Misael Aponte, and Trevor Sorbie as well as many others over the years. She has worked behind the scenes at Fashion Week New York Feb 2016. Her role as teacher and mentor inspires old and new talent here at Pompadours.

Co-owner of Pompadours, Eddie Donisvitch started his career in the hair industry in 1988. This award winning stylist brings both experience and expertise to the chair. His clients rave about his natural looking highlights and color as well as his precision haircuts. His focus and passion for the industry have led him all over the country and world seeking education to further his talents. He has studied at the American Crew Advanced Academy, Toni and Guy Advanced Academies in Dallas and Long Beach, Aveda Advanced Academies in New York, Minneapolis, and Denver, and the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Santa Monica. Eddie regularly attends leading color shows around the country with many of the worlds top colorists. He also keeps current with cutting trends attending classes with industry leaders such as Oscar Bond, Gina Derry, Ricardo Dinis, Travis Parker,Trevor Sorbie as well as others. Eddie has continued to expand his knowledge by attending Deva Curl training to further his expertise with curly hair cutting. His extensive education and passion make him a leading hair artist in the Denver/Boulder area!

Minhwa Lee graduated the Aveda institute Denver as valedictorian in 2016. Before her experience in the hair industry she majored in fashion design and worked as a makeup artist. She has had the opportunity to take an Aveda color class with Ian Micheal Black, Aveda’s Global Artistic Director. She has also attended Vidal Sassoon Academy for precision cutting techniques.She continues to seek out education in both cutting and color. Minhwa was invited to participate in Aveda’s Color Jam event where she taught others her color placement techniques. She later she was asked to to work along side Ian as part of Aveda’s color team. During this time Minhwa created digital color advertisement for a new shade of of grey color she formulated that is now a staple shade in their color line. She loves creating perfectly blended colors and specializes in balayage, fashion colors, and precision cutting. She values the guest to stylist interaction and strives to make every client walk away happy and educated about their hair!

Katie Valdez, born and raised here in Colorado, is a pure joy to be around and loves hiking in the beautiful outdoors. Katie graduated from the Aveda Institute of Denver, CO. in 2016 and chose Pompadours to commit her career to. After going through our Apprentice Program here, she earned a full-time stylist position in 2018. Since then, she has shown true passion for doing hair and continues to further her education. Katie has attended Vidal Sassoon training two years in a row and cannot wait to attend again. She excels at cutting hair, especially men’s fading and beard shaping. Katie is very patient with her guests’ needs while giving attention to detail with every haircut and great with children. Plus, she is just super fun to hangout with during your service! Katie attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in September of 2024!

Shelly is both strong and talented, as a person and as a hairstylist. Shelly has been with Pompadours since graduating from Aveda Institute in Denver! The two things Shelly is extremely passionate in is blonding, she can lighten any canvas without compromising the hair and loves taking on transformational projects! She is also certified through Bellami Hair in all methods of hair extensions, mainly focusing on sew in methods and tape ins. When Shelly is not doing hair, you can find her in the gym or out for a hike outdoors with her two adorable husky pups! Originally from Puerto Rico, Shelly is also bilingual and fluent in Spanish!

Sara Hudson is a Boulder native who has been in the hair industry since 2003! She found a passion for hair and beauty when growing up singing and surrounding herself in the performing arts. Sara started the Apprentice program here at Pompadours to refine her skills and expand her knowledge in the world of color! Sara is an expert in men’s grooming and has a lot of experience in the barbershop environment. In addition to men’s cutting, Sara is also skilled in women’s cuts, children’s cuts and waxing services! When she’s not in the salon, Sara loves watercolor painting, hanging out at local breweries, being out in nature and playing frisbee with her Border Collie puppy!

Born and raised in the picturesque Boulder, CO, Olivia Maaherra graduated from The Aveda Institute Denver in 2022. As a dedicated mom, she is fueled by her passion for helping others feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.

Olivia specializes in educating her clients about embracing their natural hair textures, whether it be waves, curls, or coils. She believes that everyone deserves to feel their best, and she loves to style hair in a way that highlights each individual’s unique beauty.

With a keen eye for color and cutting, Olivia also takes pride in guiding her clients towards the best products tailored to their specific needs. Her goal is to empower others through haircare and styling, ensuring that every visit leaves them feeling rejuvenated and self-assured.

Courtney is a Colorado native who has been surrounded by the beauty and hair world her whole life – her mother is a hairstylist and her biggest inspiration! She completed her Cosmetology training at IBMC College and is excited to start her career here at Pompadours. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family, friends and her adorable kitty. She is very passionate about all things beauty and excited to make all your hair dreams a reality. Her books are open on Tuesdays and she is accepting new clients!

Rayna comes to Pompadours with a desire to further expand on her skills and craftmanship in hairstyling. She loves anything to do with blondes and hair coloring! Rayna attended Elevate Salon Institute in Westminster and graduated in 2022. When she is not in the salon, she is either spending quality time with her friends, at the gym, or buried in a good book!

Shay Stritchko, is a proud Colorado native with an enduring passion for beauty. Whether she’s crafting the perfect shade of blonde or exploring innovative techniques, Shay is captivated by the artistry of hair color and styling. Shay is eager to expand her knowledge and skills through an apprenticeship, where she can learn from experienced professionals and hone her craft in cutting, coloring, and styling.

In addition to Shay’s dedication to hair, She cherishes spending time outdoors—whether it’s snowboarding, hiking, or enjoying moments with friends and family. Shay’s creativity, attention to detail, and enthusiasm drive her to contribute meaningfully and grow within the beauty industry.
