Lisa Fraser (She/Her)

Owner, Senior Master Stylist

Lisa Fraser, owner of Pompadours since the doors opened in 1990, has been in the hair industry since 1980. With an eye for shape and form that developed early on with her love of art and photography, Lisa strives to find the best style to suit each individual face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle. She loves all forms of cutting from precision classics to cutting edge pixies, long flowing layers to short and textured. She has a natural talent for cutting including precision scissor cutting as well as excelling in razor cutting! She has studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy Santa Monica, Jingles Academy New York, American Crew Academy, and Tony and Guy Advanced Academies in Dallas and Long Beach. She has also studied at the Aveda Advanced Academies in New York, Minneapolis, and Denver. She has had the opportunity to study with some of the best artists in the industry including Oscar Bond, Rudy Miles, Gina Derry, Ricardo Dinis, Misael Aponte, and Trevor Sorbie as well as many others over the years. She has worked behind the scenes at Fashion Week New York Feb 2016. Her role as teacher and mentor inspires old and new talent here at Pompadours.

Edward Donisvitch (He/Him)

Owner, Senior Master Stylist

Co-owner of Pompadours, Eddie Donisvitch started his career in the hair industry in 1988. This award winning stylist brings both experience and expertise to the chair. His clients rave about his natural looking highlights and color as well as his precision haircuts. His focus and passion for the industry have led him all over the country and world seeking education to further his talents. He has studied at the American Crew Advanced Academy, Toni and Guy Advanced Academies in Dallas and Long Beach, Aveda Advanced Academies in New York, Minneapolis, and Denver, and the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Santa Monica. Eddie regularly attends leading color shows around the country with many of the worlds top colorists. He also keeps current with cutting trends attending classes with industry leaders such as Oscar Bond, Gina Derry, Ricardo Dinis, Travis Parker, Trevor Sorbie as well as others. Eddie has continued to expand his knowledge by attending Deva Curl training to further his expertise with curly hair cutting. His extensive education and passion make him a leading hair artist in the Denver/Boulder area!

Aza Rose (She/Her)

Salon Manager, Haircutting Specialist

Aza Rose is the Salon Manager first and foremost. Joining the Pompadours team in December 2025 she brings with her an eclectic background of experience. As far as management is concerned, she brings with her the experience of a project manager for the department of clinical sciences at CSU as well as Executive Director for OUTspoken Leaders, a LGBTQ+ nonprofit formerly in Wheaton Illinois.

In addition to Salon Management Aza also joins the team as a Haircut Specialist. She began her hair journey by graduating from Regency Beauty Institute in 2013 but has had her hands in hair for as long as she can remember. Her career took her from Phoenix as a salon manager for Regis, to her first Aveda Salon Red 115 in Flagstaff Arizona in 2014. While there she had the opportunity to attend New York Fashion Week with Aveda and Jon Reyman in 2015 as well as participate in Scottsdale Fashion Week. She moved to Chicago to continue her salon education as an apprentice for Jon Reyman at Spoke and Weal. She then moved to Wheaton to become the Education Director of Namaste Salon, before rounding out her career at Marek Ashley Salon as a Master Stylist. She moved her with her husband in 2022 and absolutely loves Colorado!

She specializes in Dry haircutting and gender affirming haircuts and cannot wait to help every client in her chair feel their most beautiful and begin living their most authentic life.

Minhwa Lee (She/Her)

Minhwa Lee graduated the Aveda Institute Denver as Valedictorian in 2016. Before her experience in the hair industry, she majored in fashion design and worked as a makeup artist. She has had the opportunity to take an Aveda color class with Ian Micheal Black, Aveda’s Global Artistic Director. She has also attended Vidal Sassoon Academy for precision cutting techniques. She continues to seek out education in both cutting and color. Minhwa was invited to participate in Aveda’s Color Jam event where she taught others her color placement techniques. She later was asked to work along side Ian as part of Aveda’s color team. During this time, Minhwa created digital color advertisement for a new shade of of grey color she formulated that is now a staple shade in their color line. She loves creating perfectly blended colors and specializes in balayage, fashion colors, and precision cutting. She values the guest-to-stylist interaction and strives to make every client walk away happy and educated about their hair!

Jill Scott (She/Her)

Jill is a veteran stylist boasting over 25 years of experience. She is skilled in vivids, textured hair and curls, formal updos, and voluminous blowouts. A sensitive soul with a love for all creatures, Jill possesses an intuitive ability to spot individual needs and ensure every person who sits in her chair feels seen, heard, and celebrated.

When she’s not behind the chair, she loves to learn new skills that help her connect with people and other creatures. She is currently studying wildlife management and raising an adorable kitten named Iris. When she wants to relax, you can find her at a local aerial studio, practicing circus arts and aerial silks.

Sara Hudson (She/Her)

Sara is a Boulder native who has been in the hair industry since 2003. She has a passion for shag haircuts, razor cutting, and men’s grooming.

Sara started the Apprentice Program at Pompadours in 2021 to refine her skills and expand her knowledge in the world of color. She has been a Resident Stylist here since the completion of her Apprenticeship. Sara came to Pompadours already an expert in men’s cuts and grooming from her experience working at Floyd’s 99 and Finley’s Barbershop for eight years cumulatively. In addition to men’s cuts, Sara is also skilled in women’s cuts, children’s cuts, and waxing services.

When she’s not in the salon, Sara loves watercolor painting, hanging out at local breweries, being out in nature, and spending time with family.

Shelby Herman (She/Her)

Shelby has been in the hair industry since 2016 and licensed since 2018. She believes deeply in the power of self-expression and the way intentional self-care can nourish the soul. Her work is rooted in ethical, sustainable practices that support both personal wellness and environmental mindfulness. Shelby opened her own studio in Asheville, NC, with a vision of creating a space centered around holistic and sustainable self-care. Although the studio closed after Hurricane Helene, her passion for integrative, plant-based hair care only deepened. She is currently studying to become a herbalist, with the goal of blending her knowledge of holistic wellness and hair artistry into a comprehensive, sustainable approach to beauty and wellness. After moving to Colorado in 2025, Shelby became an educator at the Aveda Institute in Denver, but realized being behind the chair remains her true passion. As a stylist, Shelby thrives on detailed, transformative color work—from vivids, to corrective color projects or lived-in blonding.  As far as cutting, she loves working with curly hair and bringing out natural texture, shags, and gender affirming styles. Whatever the project is she is intentional with what complements each client’s lifestyle while celebrating their individuality.

When she’s not behind the chair, Shelby enjoys spending time at home with her leopard gecko, Ru (yes, she’s a drag fan), and her two dogs, Scout and Jake. She loves attending live music with her partner and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Julia graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2025 with a deep passion for the art of hair and a commitment to creating a welcoming, relaxing salon experience for every guest. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Julia moved to pursue her dream of working in the beauty industry, bringing with her a Midwestern warmth that instantly puts clients at ease.

Julia believes that getting your hair done should be more than just an appointment—it should be a moment of calm and confidence. She combines technical skill with an intuitive understanding of her clients’ needs, working to ensure each person leaves feeling refreshed, understood, and truly cared for. Whether she’s crafting a precision cut or helping someone find their perfect color, Julia brings both creativity and compassion to the chair.

Bugs graduated from Aveda Institute Denver in 2025 and brings a deep passion for creativity and helping every client leave feeling their best and most authentic self. Some of Bugs favorite services behind the chair include bold transformations, alternative cuts, and creative color work. Whether it’s a lived-in look or a vibrant, textured style, Bugs brings passion and care for every look they create.
Outside the salon, Bugs loves spending time with friends and family, relaxing with their dog, and keeping up with the latest horror movies.
